Co-Executive Director

Emily Meyer

She/Her

Emily Meyer comes to Everyone Deserves Housing with more than 20 years of experience and a deep, values-driven commitment to ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home.

Throughout her career, Emily has worked alongside communities to advance housing stability, strengthen homelessness response systems, and build programs rooted in dignity, equity, and compassion.

She is known for her thoughtful leadership style, collaborative approach, and ability to navigate complex systems while keeping people at the center of the work. Grounded in Housing First principles and a belief that housing is foundational to well-being, Emily is passionate about meeting people where they are.

As Co-Executive Director, she helps lead EDH with empathy, clarity, and a focus on turning shared values into meaningful, on-the-ground impact.

Dan Wise

She/They

Dan Wise comes to Everyone Deserves Housing with more than two decades of experience working alongside people and communities impacted by poverty and housing instability.

Their work has focused on building practical, compassionate responses to homelessness through program leadership, policy-informed practice, and a strong commitment to social justice and racial equity.

Dan brings deep strengths in systems thinking, operations, and community-driven solutions, shaped by years of hands-on work in housing, outreach, and service delivery. They are currently completing a Doctor of Social Work at the University of Kentucky, with graduation expected within the next year, further grounding their leadership in evidence-based practice and reflective learning.

As Co-Executive Director, Dan helps guide EDH with care, integrity, and a focus on creating humane, effective pathways out of homelessness.
